Estuary Health Advisories

Here we initiate a new section of our webpage. Our intention is to help keep the public informed and up to date with advisories published by various government agencies in the Hudson/Raritan Estuary. The prime focus will be on advisories concerning fish consumption but wont be limited to just that issue. For the most part this will be done by providing links to the specific postings. Please check back as we research and add more advisories. We start by posting a link to New York State's latest comprehensive fish advisory.

The newest Health Advisories are out for NY State's fisheries. Of special note people of the Estuary are pages 18 & 19 that deal with Marine Waters in NY Harbor, Jamaica Bay, and Raritan Bay, and say that women of child bearing age, and children younger the Age 15 should EAT NO STRIPED BASS from these waters.........Other's only 1/2 lb a month.
