Our 30-foot Pederson Skiff patrols for polluters, illegal dredging, oil spills, and other potential violations of environmental laws. The boat is also used to monitor work at projects such as the Diamond-Alkali Superfund site. In addition, the boat is used to take members of the press, elected officials, government representatives and other groups out to the see the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary from the water. The Baykeeper Boat is a symbol of our presence in-and commitment to-the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary.
