The environment has always been important to NY/NJ Baykeeper Board Member Fatema Raza, and she has been busy spreading that environmental advocacy ever since she joined the
Baykeeper board six years ago. A senior manager at WithumSmith+Brown, Raza said the accounting firm has always encouraged their staff members to get involved with nonprofits.
Raza enjoys taking part in Baykeeper beach cleanups and especially loves bringing her Withum colleagues with her. Raza notes that her office will soon be opting out of plastic straws altogether. As Baykeeper enters its 30 th year, Raza said she hopes to see the organization grow.
