NY/NJ Baykeeper Board Member Terry Doss has been immersed in environmental advocacy for as long as she can remember.

Doss, a wetlands restoration ecologist who serves as Director of the Natural Resources Management Department for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA), has been a leader in restoring natural areas located within the urban wildlands of New York and New Jersey for decades.

Over the past 30 years, Doss has managed coastal and wetland restoration projects with a focus on nature-based solutions to reduce flood risks while improving resiliency for coastal communities.

Doss is also actively involved with the Society of Wetland Scientists, Ecological Society of America, and the Society for Ecological Restoration. She was certified as an Ecological Restoration Practitioner by SER in 2018.
